Consume food for health regen

Replenishing your energy is essential to survive hard enemy encounters in Avatar Frontiers of Pandora. Doing so will provide you with free health regen after a few seconds of not taking damage. The free buff is handy, especially if you don't have enough Dapophets to heal yourself.

I recommend checking your energy meter after fast traveling, as it usually consumes about 20% of your entire energy meter.

You can loot food from RDA supply boxes, which provide 50-100% energy meters upon consumption. You can also eat raw food like meat, fruits, mushrooms, and fish to replenish your energy meter in a pinch.

Pick up free supplies before leaving the base

Most Na'Vi, Resistance bases, and RDA outposts have free supplies you can constantly pick up before going back to your exploration. Usually, there are free stun grenades, sticks for your arrows, and even food, especially in the Resistance Headquarters. These are really useful, especially if you do not want to focus on gathering materials to craft your own gear.

Use the environment to your advantage

Avatar Frontiers of Pandora contains a lot of useful plants and even man-made tools you can use to give yourself the edge while battling multiple enemies. You can shoot green pod-like plants while enemies are near to deal a huge amount of damage or even lure enemies to electrically conductive plants.

You can even use the trampoline plants to vault over the air and shoot enemies from above with your arrow. The most fun interaction I've encountered was when I lured a Sturmbeast to an RDA outpost, which helped me take down the entire squad in less than a minute. The environmental options are endless; you just have to think like a Na'Vi.

Gather Bellsprigs while on your way to the objective

Bellsprigs essentially increase your base HP permanently, in turn giving you more survivability while tackling huge hoards of the RDA squad. You can find Bellsprigs by opening your map and checking their pinned locations.

Bellsprigs are free resources to ensure you survive even higher-level enemies, and their bonus stacks on top of your equipment HP. Once you find one, interact with it, and you'll instantly get a free HP.

Always use your Na'Vi Senses to scan your surroundings

Na'Vi Senses help you find your next objective more easily, especially if you have Guided on your Quest Assistance settings. However, I find the Na'Vi Sense to be more useful in gathering and examining the quality of materials I can acquire from a plant or an animal.

Using your Na'Vi Senses will also fill up your Hunter's Guide, which is essential for having more detailed information on where you can get rarer versions of materials. The Na'Vi Sense also allows you to see certain animal trails and differentiate friendly from hostile animals; you don't want a Thanator suddenly jumping you from behind, trust me.

Consistently Contribute to any Na'Vi clan base

Contributing to the Na'Vi clan base earns you Na'Vi favors, which you can exchange for rare materials, superior armor, and weapons, as well as higher-grade food with multiple buffs. This mechanic is extremely helpful when you're low on character level, as you'll gain access to free equipment upgrades by simply giving materials you gathered throughout your exploration.

You'll gain more Na'Vi favors by delivering a particular material; the material usually has an icon if they're in demand for a certain base. You can also take on side quests from a specific camp to gain more Na'Vi favors.

You can always find Dapophets near streams of water

Screenshot by Pro Game Guides

The initial prologue of the game has you helping a wounded Na'Vi by gathering a Dapophet. However, if you're not paying attention at the time, there's a hint mentioning Dapophets are usually found by water streams.

If you're in a pinch without any food to replenish your energy, simply find a stream of water nearby and gather Dapophets to heal yourself. You can also find Dapophets in medic kits on RDA bases.

Cook your raw ingredients to get additional buffs out of them

As mentioned in the first tip, you can always eat raw food to replenish your energy, and there's even a specific skill for gaining more energy out of them. However, by eating raw food, you're missing out on buffs they give and only consuming them for energy purposes.

You can find a cooking area in Na'Vi and Resistance bases, which allows you to combine two raw ingredients to make a dish. These dishes will give you more energy while providing buffs depending on the ingredients you choose.

Higher-quality ingredients mean more powerful buffs and can even lengthen the buff time for your character.

Go after the nearest Tarsyu immediately

Screenshot by Pro Game Guides

The Tarsyu plant gives you Ancestor Skills, which are major passive skills to aid you in your exploration and combat encounters. They are also tied to the Sarentu memory, so you're hitting two birds with one stone. One of the best and most useful Ancestory Skills is the Eject Tarsyu, instantly allowing you to take down a disoriented ARM (stunned, electrocuted, etc.).

Aside from Tarsyu, there are also Tarsyu saplings, which are mini versions of Tarsyu that grant you additional skill points instead.

All available Tarsyu and Tarsyu saplings are marked on your map, so make sure to check them once you explore a new area of Pandora.

Use the Hunter's Guide to gather information on a specific material

Screenshot by Pro Game Guides

The Hunter's Guide is very essential in gathering the best possible material to craft superior and exquisite equipment. To add more to your hunting journal, simply use your Na'Vi senses and analyze the material or animal.

Afterward, you now have more information on a specific biome where you can get x material and where you can find rarer versions of them on the map. This is also helpful when hunting specific animals; for example, Sturmbeasts are usually within the Bamboo Grove biome.

Having all of this information readily available will help you survive the harsh and unforgiving world of Pandora, so make sure to analyze as much animal and material as you can to help you craft better equipment to boost your character level.
