Why is there no scoreboard in Battlefield 2042?

Battlefield 2042 currently lacks a scoreboard feature that was present in all of the previous games. If you are wondering why the scoreboard feature is gone, it's unclear.

EA has not released any official responses regarding the missing feature, and it remains unclear why the scoreboard is missing.

One statement floating that one user claim is from an EA developer states the scoreboard was removed to give all players a sense of accomplishment regardless of skill. 

However, it's important to note that the statement in question does not have a source and seems most likely fabricated.

We suspect this alleged EA response to be fabricated because after looking through both Reddit and other websites, nothing that mentioned it included a source. 

Even after digging for a few hours, we were still unable to find a source for the alleged response from EA. Because of this, we were unable to verify the statement, so we advise taking every mention of it with a grain of salt.

We suspect this alleged statement from EA was made to fire up the community and cause further outrage regarding the missing scoreboard feature.

Because of this, we recommend taking this rumor with a grain of salt until EA or DICE provides an official response.
