What are the 15 best mods for Borderlands 3?

15. Level 50 Zane

You should definitely install this Zane mod to see his true extent of capabilities. This mod comes in three different forms:

  • Basic
  • Twinked
  • Ballbuster

The Ballbuster offers a hard-core experience that gives you Zane with an empty inventory. The Twinked option offers a plethora of goodies that will help you conquer all stages with no sweat.

14. Super Saves

The Super Saves mod offers you 100 save files you can access in the game. The saved files have superb inventories, the best skill tree mods, and everything else you need to easily breeze through stages! This mod allows you to skip leveling up and acquiring items and provides you with some of the best setups to enhance your experience without having to farm for it.

13. No intro

You can't skip some intros in Borderlands 3, and if you play every day, it will naturally become boring to watch them every time they start. The No intro mod removes all unskippable intros and lets you dive into the game. It's a simple mod but essential, as it speeds up the gameplay and makes the experience more fluid.

12. A Cheaper Eridium Economy

Grinding to get loot is a staple for all Borderlands games. It makes achievements feel like you earned them and legendary weapons all the more special. However, if you want to experience the game without the grind, the Cheaper Eridium Economy mod makes upgrades, repairs, and items cheaper.

11. Randomizers For Enemies, Weapons, And More

Randomizers are great mods for people who have played Borderlands 3 before. This mod creates a new experience, making the gameplay rogue-like with random enemies, weapons, and items. This will throw game balance out of the window, however, allowing for the possibility of obtaining the most powerful weapons right at the start of the game.

10. Third-person mod

As the name suggests, this mod lets players experience the game in third person. It's available on PC only and requires developer's console access. This is more of a cheat than a mod, as it gives you an unfair advantage in the game, being able to spot enemies around corners.

9. You’re A Wizard FL4K

This mod offers four save files with different builds, which will annihilate any enemy that stands in your way. Using these save files, you won't have to spend time on theory-crafting and modding. Here are the main included builds:

  • Gamma Nukem: Heavy Weapons oriented Redfang Gamma Burst.
  • Hyperion Cryo/Rad: Icebreaker + Redistributor, sub 20 minute SS times.
  • Cold War Auror: Cryo/Rad + Splash Damage/Charge Weapons.
  • You're a Wizard: Build that sparked the Rakk Revolution.

8. Clean Reshade Preset

The Clean Reshade Preset is a visual mod that upgrades your graphics significantly. It adds a deblur, tone maps, and curves, greatly improving your visual experience in the game. And best of all, the shaders used in this mod have an insignificant performance impact.

7. Level Up All Vault Hunters

To level up Vault Hunters, you must keep replaying the game. This mod contains the save files with Mayhem mode unlocked and Vault Hunters already leveled up. You only need to initiate the save file and test your skill against the tougher versions of these opponents. All characters have level 30 or 75 without any skill points allocated, so you can build them however you want.

6. The Infinite Slide Mod

The Infinite Slide Mod does what the name says, making the player's slide animation 4000 times longer than the default. It may not be the optimal way of travel, but it offers a fun and new experience to spice up the game, especially if you have already finished it.

5. Make enemies fight each other

If you want to spice the game up with true mayhem, this game mod is for you. This mod introduces a proper deathmatch, making all enemies fight each other in addition to you. The Infighting mod is relatively untested and completely throws away the game balance.

4. All Red Text Weapons

The All Red Text Weapons mod allows you to have all red text items in your bank. This includes all shields, weapons, and items at level 60 and Mayhem 10. Several other skins are included, such as heads of characters and multiple vehicle parts. There are 33 new weapons and grenades for you to try out.

3. Demolition Moze MH10

This save file gives you a level 60 Mayhem 10 Moze with excellent gear and anointments. You will be able to wreak havoc with no reloads and spam grenades with BBB and Cloning Maddening tracker. Vampyr provides healing, which increases the more fire rate you have.

2. More Customizable Vehicles

This Vehicle Unlocks mod allows you to customize the three vehicles available with various skins and other customizable features. It makes all parts and skins available for a vehicle as soon as you unlock it in the game. The mod also randomizes the skins and accessories of enemy vehicles, making the game more interesting and engaging.

1. Giant Weapon, Invisible Weapons

The Giant Weapon, Invisible Weapons mod is a true juggernaut. This mod will give you all armor, gear, weapons, modes, bosses, boss items, and more. The main save includes around 60 new items. Modded skills for Amara, Moze, FL4K, and Zane are also available. According to the author, they are not overpowered but appropriately balanced, with one million Eridium and maximum money.
