Best Lethal and Tactical Equipment in Black Ops 6 Beta

Lethals and Tacticals worth using!

In Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, there are a variety of gadgets that you can add to your loadout besides your guns. The most important ones are Lethal and Tactical Equipment that you can use to disorient or even take out enemies. Here's a ranked list of the best Lethals and Tacticals in BO6 Beta.

Best Lethal Equipment in Black Ops 6 Beta

As the name suggests, Lethal Equipment can be used against the enemy to damage them and even eliminate them in one hit if used appropriately.

1. Semtex / Sticky Grenade (unlocks at level 5)

Semtex or Sticky Grenades, when thrown, stick to the surface and then explode after a short time. Enemies can be alerted by its beeping sound but it doesn't take long to explode, so they still might be damaged if not killed. If you land the throw on an opponent and they're stuck by this lethal, there's no saving them.

2. Combat Axe (unlocks at level 24)

Instead of throwing knives, we get to use throwing axes in Black Ops 6. Aim these retrievable Lethals at an enemy and throw them to get an instant kill if you land it anywhere on their body. As I mentioned, it's retrievable, which means you can pick it back up from where it landed. A Combat Axe can also bounce off surfaces, so there's a good chance of you getting a lucky kill if it somehow ends up ricocheting into an enemy.

3. Frag (pre-unlocked)

No Call of Duty game is complete without the good ol' Frag Grenade. These are timed fragmentation grenades that can roll on floors and damage enemies within their blast radius. A Frag is also cookable, which means you can hold it in your hands for a short while and throw it to surprise the enemy with an instant explosion. If you deploy it immediately, there's a chance the enemy can toss it back at you or just away to avoid taking damage. Try throwing it across the map to get some satisfying kills right when the match begins.

4. Thermo Grenade (unlocks at level 9)

Once thrown, the Thermo Grenade deploys a cloud of flammable gas cloud that explodes after a short duration. It also leaves a fire residue on the ground that can damage any enemy going through it. I'm not a fan of this equipment as there are better options available, but feel free to try it out for yourself.

5. Blast Trap (unlocks at level 21)

Blast Traps are proximity-triggered explosive devices that blow up when an enemy comes within its range. It may not always work if the enemy spots the Blast Trap and avoids it completely by shooting it or avoiding it entirely. However, these will be great for game modes like Hardpoint and Domination where you need to defend the captured objective.

Best Tactical Equipment in Black Ops 6 Beta

Tactical Equipment may not sound like much but can be very beneficial when used effectively under certain circumstances. These are used often by seasoned players to gain a competitive edge over their foes by either disorienting them or by getting themselves ready to fight after a skirmish.

1. Stim Shot (unlocks at level 12)

A Stim Shot replenishes any lost health instantly and refreshes your tactical sprint. With omnimovement in Black Ops 6, Stim Shots are going to be meta. If you're already low on health and enemies are closing in on you, pop the stim to regain HP. Even if you don't need the health regen, just use it to zoom past the opponents as it also refreshes your tactical sprint.

2. Flashbang (unlocks at level 6)

Flashbangs are back and just as useful as ever. Affected enemies get blinded and you can use this opportunity to take them out while they're disoriented. It's most effective when you're trying to clear out rooms and capture points in modes like Hardpoint; however, the enemy may have a Trophy System Field Upgrade planted that can destroy your flash grenade.

3. Prox Alarm (unlocks at level 17)

Prox Alarm is a new tactical device that I've enjoyed using during my playtime. Place these sticky alarms onto a surface that you want to keep an eye on. The device will start ringing and flashing when an enemy comes near its vicinity alerting you of their presence. Spotted enemies will appear on your teammates' minimaps as well, which makes the Prox Alarm a great piece of equipment.

4. Concussion (pre-unlocked)

Similar to Flashbangs, a Concussion Grenade disorients the enemy by slowing their movement and aiming instead of blinding them. I prefer flash grenades over stun grenades because the former blocks information on the enemy's screen completely. In some cases of using a Concussion, the opponent's aim-assist can lock on to you and you'll end up dying anyway, so be careful and stay out of their crosshairs.

5. Decoy (unlocks at level 28)

The sticky Decoy Grenade imitates footsteps and gunfire sounds. These are meant to confuse the enemy, but it never achieves that feat, unless you're playing against inexperienced players. Although Decoys don't have a tactical application, players have been using these to get free XP. Any kill your teammates get near a Decoy thrown by you will get you assist points that can help level up your weapons fast.
