Call of Duty uses a number of error codes to designate specific problems, and Code Chastise is one such problem. Typically, it only occurs when a purchase fails, but there are still ways to potentially fix it.
How to fix code Chastise for Call of Duty
As just mentioned, you really only see error code Chastise pop up when you try to purchase something COD-related on your PS5. There's a high chance this code has nothing to do with you, and it's on Activision. If this is the case, then your best bet is to wait for Activision to fix the problem.
However, if you're convinced otherwise, here are a few solutions that can fix your issue:
1. Restore License Agreement
Sometimes, error code Chastise pops up if the account you're trying to purchase on isn't the primary one. For clarity, your primary account for a COD game is the one in which you purchased it. Typically, only your primary account has the proper licenses to access additional content. To fix code Chastise, go to Settings. From here, go to Account Management, then click on Restore Licenses.

2. Relog your Primary Account
If the above does not work, you can try logging out of your main account and then logging back in. Sometimes, a simple cache refresh is enough to fix a persistent problem.
3. Verify your Call of Duty is Installed
As a last-ditch effort, make sure the Call of Duty game you're trying to purchase is actually installed on your console. If it is, try reinstalling the game.
If none of these solutions fix your problem, it is highly likely a problem on Activision's end, and you'll need to wait for them to resolve it.
