How to unlock weapons early in MW3 Zombies

Did you know there's a method you can use in MW3 Zombies to carry weapon and gear progression to all other modes of gameplay? If you're looking to unlock some items early, here's how you can.

How to unlock gear early in MW3 Zombies

If you dislike using the new Armory system added in MW3, you do have an alternative option you can use to unlock weapons you don't yet have access to in-game. While you're scavenging the Exclusion Zone for loot, look out for weapons you have yet to acquire. These weapons can be found in almost every kind of container including Aether Caches, if you're lucky.

Once you've found a high-value target (weapon and/or gear), you're going to want to Exfil as soon as you possibly can. If you successfully Exfil with gear you haven't unlocked yet, they will all unlock for you in all other game modes of MW3. Do you really want to get your hands on the new grenade launcher early on? If you can find it in MWZ and extract it safely, you will unlock it instantly.

This effectively means you can bypass the Armory system for most general weapons and gear unlocks through MWZ. The rarity, any upgrades, and attachments you may have on the Exfil'd weapon will not carry over to the rest of MW3, so you will still need to utilize the Armory system for that unfortunately. Still, there's no denying how incredibly useful this can be, as it can save you a ton of time grinding in the long run.
