It's official, the 2023 installment in the popular first-person shooter franchise Call of Duty is going to be Modern Warfare 3. The game has been announced on CoD's social media channels via a brief teaser. Here's every major information known about the game until now.
Modern Warfare 3 First Teaser
The teaser shows Captain Price and a new yet familiar character, who's most likely Makarov. Because it's just an announcement trailer, it's rather short. You can expect cinematics and gameplay reveal in the coming months. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is being developed by Sledgehammer Games and comes out on November 10.
Above you can see a still of who seems to be Makarov to me and anyone following the recent CoD lore. The epilogue and post-credit scene of Modern Warfare 2 hinted at the return of this iconic villain from the original Modern Warfare saga. It's about time that we finally get to see him go head-to-head against Task Force 141 and the entire world. The reveal of MW3 2023 will also take place in Warzone's Al Mazrah map during Season 5, so be prepared for that as well.
