Raven Software added the Rebirth Island Battle Royale map to Warzone in 2020. Although the map is comparatively smaller than Verdansk, it offers a distinct yet fun and action-packed experience. Rebirth Resurgence Extreme mode in Warzone is a limited-time mode that takes the classic Rebirth Island game mode to the next level.
The new model offers an increased player count, which doubles the intensity and action of the match. Warzone's Rebirth Resurgence Extreme quads features a whooping 64 player count, which translates to 16 squads in total. On the contrary, the normal Rebirth Island quad match has a maximum of 40 players, which means around 10 squads.
UPDATE (1 October): Raven Software lowered the player count from 64 to 60. They also slightly increased the respawn timer.

The increase in player count may not seem like too much, but it is for the size of the map you play on. The huge number of players adds to the already fast pace of Rebirth Island BR. This may feel extra chaotic at times because a lot is going on in the game.
Still, the Resurgence Extreme matches are a good way to level up your skills and even guns if you want. The presence of that many players around you boosts your awareness a lot. This also helps increase your map knowledge, gunplay, and reaction time.
So grab some cash, get your loadout and survive through the chaos. The only thing you have to make sure of is that at least one player remains alive in the team until the rebirth countdown so that you can redeploy back into the fight.
