How to give Gifts in Coral Island

A necessary part of forming connections is giving out Gifts.

How to give Townies Gifts in Coral Island

You can give gifts to any of the Townies you see around the Island, but there is no chat option to activate this. Instead, you must carry the item you wish to give in your Inventory or place it in your Toolbelt for easy access.

Once you have the item you wish to Gift at the ready, select it from your Toolbelt, and move your cursor over the character you want to give it to, you should be able to see a Gift icon appear over them. Click on the character and you should see the prompt to give the item appear on the screen. You can choose Yes or No. Then the character will react if they like or dislike the item you gave them.

What are Gifts for in Coral Island?

Gifts are an essential step to creating friendships and relationships in Coral Island. You can give each player two Gifts every day. By navigating to the People menu, you can keep track of what friendship level and Gifts you have given out. The hearts beside each character icon will slowly fill up when you develop a connection with them. By selecting an individual character in your menu, you can see more specifics about them and figure out what items they like or dislike, making it easier to decide what Gifts to give them.
