Crash Bandicoot originally launched on the PlayStation in 1996 and for a long time remained a PlayStation exclusive developed by Naughty Dog. However, with the release of the N'Sane Trilogy, Crash Bandicoot came to other consoles. Unfortunately, the future of Crash Bandicoot is now in question once again as Microsoft plans to acquire Activision and Blizzard.
While there is no definitive answer to if Crash Bandicoot will become an Xbox exclusive, Microsoft did issue a statement saying, "Activision Blizzard games are enjoyed on a variety of platforms, and we plan to continue to support those communities moving forward." It should be noted that this acquisition will not be finalized until 2023.

Console exclusivity has been around for some time, and Microsoft has made this decision before. For example, Bethesda's sci-fi RPG Starfield has become an Xbox exclusive after being acquired by Microsoft. The very same could happen to Crash Bandicoot.
As stated before, there is no clear answer to this question yet. However, we will keep an eye out for any further information or announcements and update this post accordingly.
Microsoft's announcement that it plans to acquire Blizzard and Activision was released on Jan. 18, 2022, in a statement by CEO Phil Spencer. The press release goes into further detail about Microsoft's plans for the future of Activision and Blizzard under their umbrella.
This reveal comes amidst various accusations, scandals, and lawsuits that Blizzard and Activision are facing. This may have had an impact on the acquisition and its timing. One could speculate that Microsoft intends to help the companies solve these issues and restore their image.
