After several delays during the development cycle, CrossfireX is finally heading toward its Feb. 10 launch. The first-person shooter game features two premium campaign modes and a free-to-play multiplayer.
CrossfireX is available on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One, and it supports crossplay. Cross-platform support ensures faster matchmaking times for the game's multiplayer mode. It also allows players on older and newer console generations to play together.
Unfortunately, the game is only available on limited platforms, namely Xbox consoles. The game's exclusivity doesn't only mean that the sales will be limited, but the player count will be restricted as well. However, exclusivity also gives players a reason to buy that specific device.
Although the game is currently an Xbox title, it may be expanded to other platforms in the future. But that is not going to happen anytime soon. The game's graphics look beautiful, and it'd be interesting to see how well it performs on a high-end PC.
