This article is over 4 years old and may contain outdated information

Cyberpunk 2077's open world is vast, and so you are going to spend a lot of time walking, running, and driving to your next destination. However, there's one way to speed the process up, and it is through fast travel. There's a catch though; it's not exactly clear how to fast travel when you first start the game. Luckily if you keep reading, you will find all the answers you need on how to fast travel in Cyberpunk 2077.

How does fast travel work in Cyberpunk 2077?

In short, in order to fast travel in Cyberpunk 2077, you need to find a fast travel terminal; there will be a few of these in every district, and you find them marked by a blue icon on the map, as shown in the image above.

To use a fast travel terminal, just walk up to it, hit use, and find the location you want to go to; it's easy as can be! However, you can only use these terminals by visiting them and hitting use on them.

Along with that, you will also need to unlock them first before you can use them by discovering their locations. But it's worth noting it will be a while before this feature unlocks, as it is locked off in the first hours of the game.

That said, if you want to unlock fast travel in Cyberpunk 2077, you need to progress two hours into the game, so just sit back and enjoy the ride until then. Besides, you're going to miss out on all of what Night City has to offer if you fast travel everywhere.

That's all I have for you with this guide, but we have tons of other guides waiting for you at the Cyberpunk 2077 game page. I'd personally recommend checking out how to get money and how to get implant guides. See you around, Samurai!
