How to get the Sport R-7 Charon Car in Cyberpunk Phantom Liberty

Get the Sport R-7 "Charon" vehicle for free!

With the Cyberpunk 2077 2.0 update, the game received some new vehicles and weapons like the Ken Block Car and the Thermal Katana. Similarly, there are several new unlockables in the Phantom Liberty expansion you can get while exploring Dogtown, including the Sport R-7 Charon car.

The Sport R-7 Charon car can be unlocked by completing the Moving Heat quest in Phantom Liberty. For this, you'll have to play the game for a while until you receive a text message from Ashlay (as I've shown in the image). Agree to help her and she'll give you coordinates for an elevator near the Dogtown stadium.

Go there and reply to her messages on your phone, after which she'll unlock the elevator door for you. Don't worry about the cameras in the facility, as Ashlay has control over them. Enter the elevator and press the Garage button. You'll be asked not to raise an alarm, but you can go guns blazing if you like. I was easily able to complete this entire mission without being detected; I'll show you how below.

After getting off the elevator, you'll reach the warehouse area which leads to the garage. You need to kill the five guards stealthily before you move ahead. First, hack into the cameras and mark all the enemies, and then take them out one by one without alerting the others. You can use a silenced pistol or perform a stealth takedown by sneaking behind the enemy. Once the area is clear, go to the garage door and open it.

On the other side, you'll see a truck arriving at the heavily guarded checkpoint. Wait for it to stop for inspection and carefully go behind it. The guards will not spot you as long as you're quick and not in their face. Hop inside the container on the back of the truck and crouch down (see second image).

You'll then be taken directly to Ashlay's car in the garage interior. Once the truck is parked, look behind and you'll spot the vehicle. Make sure there are no guards there and sneakily approach the car. If detected, you'll have to take out the enemies before accessing the vehicle.

Get in the vehicle and wait for Ashlay's text. You'll then get the Wipe Data Logs prompt on your screen. Interact to wipe the car's onboard memory and then carefully drive the car to the garage exit on your left, the same place where you got in the truck. At the exit, you'll be stopped for a security check. Stop the car and stay patient for a short while to get clearance. Drive the car out via the tunnel on your right and chat with Ashlay, after which the Sport R-7 Charon will be yours.
