Vehicles in Cyberpunk 2077 received a major overhaul with the 2.0 update, prior to the release of Phantom Liberty. Now you can not only shoot your guns while driving, but you can also have vehicles with mounted weapons. Here's a quick guide on how you can acquire these weaponized vehicles.
Where to find Weaponized Vehicles in Cyberpunk 2077
Open the map and look for the Autofixer Terminal icon (see first image). You can change the map filter to Service Points for these vehicle vendors to appear. Go to an Autofixer Terminal and use the computer to browse through the wide selection of weaponized vehicles and buy the ones you like. Alternatively, you can also use the computer in your apartments to purchase weaponized vehicles.
Weaponized vehicles can have mounted machine guns, missile launchers, or both. You can easily identify what kind of defense system a vehicle has via the weapon marker (see image). An Autofixer Terminal not only has weaponized vehicles, but regular vehicles as well. As of now, there is no way of adding weapons to vehicles or modifying them in Cyberpunk 2077.
How to unlock more Weaponized Vehicles in Cyberpunk 2077
At first, you may find that the expensive and missile-equipped vehicles will be locked for you. To be able to purchase those cars, you'll have to increase your Street Cred by playing the game and leveling up. You can also complete gigs for Muamar "El Capitan" Reyes to unlock new weaponized vehicles. These include courier missions for which you have to steal and deliver a vehicle to a designated drop point (see images).

How does vehicle combat work in Cyberpunk 2077 2.0 update?
After equipping a weaponized vehicle, you can take out groups of enemies effortlessly using the missiles or mounted turrets. The control instructions will be displayed on the bottom right corner of your screen. The weapons can auto-lock onto targets, but you can use manual aim if you want.
If you're in a non-weaponized vehicle, you can pull out your guns and shoot at the targets while driving. You can now also hack enemy cars using your netrunner skills. My favorite part about the new vehicle combat in Cyberpunk 2077 is using melee weapons like Katana while on a motorcycle.
