The Basics Build

  • Languid Touch
  • Spies from the Shadows
  • Weave Attunement
  • Hex: No One Escapes Death

A build for those that don't have all of the DBD DLCs already collected but have gotten Vecna. This is a combination of two Vecna perks along with two non-teachable perks.

Languid Touch causes the Exhausted Status Effect on a player that scares off a crow. This perk will work in combination with Spies from the Shadows. You'll get notified any time a Survivor scares a crow (with a cooldown of five seconds). The crows become great tools with these two perks.

Survivors will almost always bring in an item or get loot from chests, which makes Weave of Attunement a great Aura reading perk. On top of revealing the Auras, anyone who picks up a Survivor Item will suffer from the Oblivious Status Effect.

Finishing off strong is NoED. As a mostly Survivor main, I hate this perk for how useful it is. It will guarantee you a couple of free hooks at least, and even deaths, so long as the totem doesn't get cleansed.

No Escaping Build

  • Corrupt Intervention
  • Iron Maiden
  • Hex: No One Escapes Death
  • No Way Out

Corrupt Intervention works at the start of the match, blocking three generators farthest away from you. This immediately slows down the game as the Survivors run around trying to find the gens they can fix.

Iron Maiden works great with Vecna's Powers, specifically the limited Magical Items, which are only available to Survivors when you play against Lich. Eye of Vecna and Hand of Vecna both use lockers as the mechanic to give the Survivors special abilities for a limited time (invisibility or teleportation, depending on which item you have — if you have both, even better).

When exiting a locker, Iron Maiden will make the Survivors scream and reveal their location to you. They will also be affected by the Exposed Status Effect for a duration of time. It's a fun mind game for you, making the Survivors choose to use a great Item and then reveal themselves.

The last two perks work for the endgame. As I mentioned above, I'm not a fan of NoED, but I can't deny its usefulness in ensuring you get all the kills once five gens are popped. No Way Out works to give you even more time at the end to finish your business. This perk will give you a notification when a Survivor interacts with an Exit Gate. The entity will also block both switches for a brief time so that the Survivors can't open either of the gates.

Items are Banned Build

  • Franklin's Demise
  • Weave Attunement
  • Overwhelming Presence
  • Hoarder

When I use this build, I imagine myself slapping an item out of the Survivor's hands. It's pretty hilarious but extremely useful as well. Franklin's is the OG of: 'Drop that item or so help me!' When hit with a basic attack, this perk will make the Survivors drop their items, which will slowly lose their charges. All Auras of dropped items are revealed to you when you are in range.

Weave Attunement will make the Survivors drop all items that have been depleted for the first time. You'll see the Auras of dropped items along with all Survivor Auras that are nearby. On top of that, a Survivor that picks up an Item will suffer from the Oblivious Status Effect. This perk works in great synergy with Overwhelming Presence, which increases the Item depletion rate when the Survivors are in your terror radius.

Hoarder is the cherry on top, causing a notification whenever a Survivor unlocks a chest or picks up an item in your range.
