There are various tools you can collect and use in Demonologist. You will need to purchase many of them, but their benefits often outweigh the cost. Here are all tools in Demonologist and what they do.

  • Candle
    • Provides light and maintains sanity.
  • Crucifix
    • Protects you from attacking paranormal entities.
  • Easel Canvas
    • Allows paranormal entities to draw images from the dimension they reside.
  • Ecto Glass
    • Allows you to see ectoplasm left behind by paranormal entities and invisible objects.
  • EMF
    • Detects electromagnetic waves.
  • ESG
    • Raise paranormal energy for entities and displays the entity on the device.
  • Flashlight
    • Provides light.

  • Ouija Board
    • Allows you to communicate with paranormal entities. Can ask basic questions. Drains you sanity once you pick it up, even when not being used.

  • Sanity Pills
    • Restores sanity.

    • Allows you to question paranormal entities.
  • Tarot Cards
    • Has a different effect depending on which card you draw.

    • Measures a room's temperature.
  • Tripod Camera
    • Can be placed to monitor a location remotely.
  • UV Light
    • Reveals fingerprints from paranormal entities on objects.
