In Demonologist, you pair up with up to three other players to hunt ghosts and exorcise entities in haunted buildings. You have several ghostbusting tools at your disposal, but which ones should you reach for first? Here's the best equipment to use in Demonologist.
Which equipment should you use in Demonologist?
There are 16 pieces of equipment and survival tools that you can use to hunt and identify the ghost in Demonologist, but some are better than others. Some tools you'll rarely even touch at all, depending on your playstyle.
By far, the best vital tool to use in the game is your Flashlight because you need light to constantly stay aware of your surroundings and explore the area thoroughly. The Spirit Box is also necessary as it allows you to attempt to communicate with the paranormal to gather evidence—if they're an entity that can talk back, anyway. You do this by speaking into your microphone.
The EMF Detector is another piece of equipment you should aim to have with you at all times because it detects how much paranormal activity is going on in the room you are currently in. It also records activity, making it easier to figure out the type of entity you're dealing with.
Finally, we'd recommend the Ectoplasma Glass, a beefed-up magnifying glass that can track where a ghost has been by showing trails of ectoplasm when you hold it up to your eyes. Pair this with the EMF Detector; your ghostbusting chances will increase significantly.
In terms of survival tools, make good use of Candles and Sanity Pills to keep your Sanity level in check while ghost hunting, as you won't make it very far without them.
