This article is over 4 years old and may contain outdated information

The remake of the PlayStation 3 exclusive Demon's Souls was sure an unexpected announcement at the PlayStation 5 reveal event. Sure, we knew that Bluepoint Games had something in the works, but Demon's Souls was definitely not on the list! We, for one, are happy to die repeatedly as we venture into unknown the northern kingdom of Boletaria, killing bosses as we explore when Demon's Souls launches for PlayStation 5 on November 12.

Demon's Souls PS5 New Content

The PS5 exclusive Demon's Souls will feature a plethora of new content, but no information on what this content is has been revealed so far. According to Bluepoint Games creative director Gavin Moore, he says in an interview with Polygon that:

"There’s a lot of new content that we’ve added to the game and for fans to find and enjoy. And there are lots of things that I think fans are going to go, ‘Oh, that’s amazing. Great. You know, I didn’t know they put that in the game."

However, Moore didn't elaborate any further because he didn't want to spoil the content for veterans of Demon's Souls. Though we're not expecting anything game-changing, such as new bosses, or entire new areas, Bluepoint Games will have paid massive tribute to the original title and will undoubtedly have surprises lying in wait. It'll be fascinating to see how quickly this new content is unearthed when it releases on November 12, as Demon's Souls can be completed in under less than 50 minutes by experts that know the game inside out. We believe it won't be long at all.

Look at the pre-order bonus for Demon's Souls that Scythe was in the PS3 version, but players couldn't acquire it, but now players can. We also know that that Digital Deluxe version has 3 digital exclusive items - Red-Eye Knight Armor, Boletarian Armor, and the Ritual Blade. Based on this, we can suspect that there will be an array of new weapons and items to find in the northern kingdom of Boletaria

We think that even long time players of Demon's Souls will become lost as they replay it again, as the graphics truly are astonishing, it show's what the next-generation of gaming is capable of. It's very much like the Final Fantasy VII Remake; seeing places you know well enhanced graphically is truly a breathtaking experience, as a new coat of paint can truly make a difference on whether you go left or right. As no matter which way you go, you'll probably die in the Demon's Souls remake.
