Here's how to reroll in the Destiny Rising gacha game and our opinion on whether it's worth it or not. With its colorful roster of unique characters, you might want to know which ones are the best to start.
Should You Reroll in Destiny Rising?
Whether you should reroll or not in Destiny Rising depends on the individual. If you feel that you definitely need the strongest meta character at the start, then it's not a lot of effort to reroll and get your preferred characters.

However, since Destiny Rising is a gacha game and also fairly generous, the best characters at launch will likely be powercrept sooner or later with new releases.
How to Reroll in Destiny Rising
Step 1: Start a Guest Account
- Always begin with a Guest account, not tied to an email or service.
- Guest accounts can be deleted and reset with only a few clicks, making rerolling quick and painless.
- Once you’re satisfied with your pulls, you should bind the account to Google or another service to keep your progress safe and accessible across devices.
Step 2: Clear the Tutorial Missions
- Skip cutscenes whenever possible to save time.
- Progress through the tutorial until you reach Chapter 1-2, which includes the mission 'Assemble a Fireteam'.
- Here, you’ll be required to play as Kabr.
- You don't have to kill all the enemies, and you can just try and finish this mission as quickly as possible.
- Once this mission is complete, you’ll unlock the Recruitment Counter, where the gacha system begins. Your first pull here will always guarantee Attal as your third Fireteam member.

Step 3: Unlock Rewards and Currency
- Before pulling, make sure you gather all available rewards. This includes checking your mailbox, shop, and mission rewards for items like Bon Voyage Charms and Lumina Leaves for your pulls.
- Make sure to redeem all available Destiny Rising redeem codes.
- Additionally, claim any pre-registration or preorder rewards, as they often provide enough to perform up to 30 pulls.
- Clear all notification icons on the screen to ensure nothing is missed.
Step 4: Pull from the Banners
- Once you have gathered your currencies, spend them on the Permanent banner.
- With around 30 pulls available, you have a solid chance of landing a Mythical Lightbearer.
- If you don’t strike gold immediately, remember that Destiny Rising has a Pity system, which improves your chances the more you summon without receiving a high-tier character.

Step 5: Delete and Restart
- If you logged in with an account, open the Settings menu using the cog icon in the bottom-right corner.
- Navigate to the Other tab, and then click Player Center.
- Select Account Deletion and confirm. This will wipe your progress, sending you back to the beginning so you can reroll again.
- Each reroll loop takes about 20–30 minutes.
- If you're on a guest account, just log out and press the third player icon on the top right.

- This will give you an option to start a new game with a fresh guest account.

Quick Reroll Checklist
- Start a Guest account

- Claim all available currencies, codes, and pre-registration rewards
- Use around 30 pulls on the Permanent banner
- Delete your account and restart if needed
- Bind to Google/email once you get the character you want.
What Are the Best Heroes to Reroll For in Destiny Rising?
Tan-2 and Jolder are the best characters to reroll for. If you already have them, then there is no need to reroll further unless you want to aim for dupes. While you might be tempted to reroll for Gwynn for aesthetic reasons, she's not the best of the best if you're looking for meta units. We suggest taking a look at our in-depth Destiny Rising PvE and PvP tier list to figure out which characters are best suited for you.
