The Broodguard is big spider boss that can be a real pain for melee-focused builds as it's constantly spawning spider adds and popping down spider webs that eventually lead to your death. Doing this solo is rough, but there's a cheese strategy you can implement that might make things easier for you.

As spotted by Reddit user Medium_Cry_9411, if you can get the Broodguard trapped up against a pillar, then you can pretty much wail away on it until you end up with a victory. It's certainly not the most fulfilling way to to win the fight, but it works in a pinch.

Are the Defiled Catacombs worth it in Diablo 4?

The Defiled Catacombs are found in the Desolate Highlands portion of the map, and the reward for completing it is a Barbarian Aspect. It's called the Defensive Aspect of Tempering Blows, and it rewards Barbarians with Fortify after swapping weapons six times. This happens automatically if you're using a variety of different abilities, so it should happen a lot.

As for whether it's worth it or not, that's up to you. This is definitely a solid Aspect that makes you very difficult to kill. If you're short on Aspects to use, this one will work and you'll feel stronger, but you'll likely find some better options down the road.
