There's a lot to take in with Diablo 4, and there are plenty of items you'll come across that you might not know what to do with. Here's how to open up caches.
How to open up caches in Diablo 4
If you've been doing some side quests in Diablo 4, chances are good that you've come across a cache or two in your time that you got as a reward for the quest. These contain crafting materials, gems, herbs, etc. that will be used in your journey, but you won't be able to access the goodies unless you open up the cache.

Opening one of these caches is as simple as clicking on it in your inventory. Once you do this, you'll see its contents spread all over the ground. Just run over it all with your character, and it'll all enter your inventory for us. This is all it takes to open up a normal cache in Diablo 4, but there are some others that take some more steps.
What to do with Legendary caches in Diablo 4
There will be some caches that you come across like Ashava's Spoils that contain a Legendary item inside when you open it up. These can be opened up at a high level to get better loot, and in some scenarios, you'll be getting one that vastly out levels you anyway so you have to wait.
Level 80 looks like it's the tipping point for these World Boss caches, so you can keep on farming for them, but you'll have to wait until you progress further into the game to open them up. When you do get to that point, you'll have a nice piece of gear waiting for you. You'll just have to hope it's something that strengthens your build.
