Return to Sanctuary and battle the forces of hell in Diablo IV, the long-anticipated sequel to Diablo IV. Fans will enjoy many returning features as well as new ones in the fourth entry in the mainline Diablo series. One feature fans may be wondering about is cross-play and whether Diablo has cross-play.
Does Diablo IV have cross-play?
The answer is yes; Diablo IV has cross-play. This means you can play with your friends even if they are on different platforms, such as PC, Xbox, or PlayStation. This also increases the player base and makes it easier to find other players.

We recommend creating and using a Blizzard account to make cross-play easier. This will ensure that you and your friends can find each other and play Diablo IV together. Having your friends on your Blizzard friends list will make it simple to invite them to your sessions or join theirs.
If you prefer not to play cross-play and stick to your platform, there will likely be an option to disable cross-play. If there is, we will update this guide to reflect that and include instructions and how to disable and enable cross-play.
