DOOM Eternal: Horde Mode announced, out Oct. 26

Few Bethesda properties are as beloved as the DOOM franchise. With the Halloween season just around the corner, id Tech 7 announced even more content is coming to the critically acclaimed DOOM Eternal.

Bethesda announced the release of update 6.66, the most significant free update DOOM Eternal's seen yet. Update 6.66 includes the new arcade-styled Horde Mode: BATTLEMODE 2.0 alongside a new arena, rewards, and two new Master Levels. The update will release on October 26, 2021.

Since Bethesda rebooted the series back in 2016, DOOM has seen massive praise from fans as one of the best modern first-person shooters on the market, and both the free and paid expansions have only compounded on that praise. DOOM Eternal is available for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Stadia.
