In Dune: Spice Wars, Authority represents a Faction's leadership and dominance over various Regions of Arrakis. It is primarily used to take control over the Villages of Arrakis and is one of the non-tradable Resources in Dune: Spice Wars. Players will need to farm Authority, and it can be done by developing Relationship levels with other Factions, trading with various Sietches, and successfully completing Espionage operations.
You can also construct the Administrative Hall at your Faction's Main Base to get a +30% Authority production boost. This Resource is one of the prerequisites required for taking over any Village in Dune: Spice Wars. After capturing a Village, players will need to pay with Authority and Water to annex the Region for their Faction.
Players can also gain Authority by Voting in Landsraad Council Resolutions like Imperial Propaganda, which gives a +30% Authority production gain. Make sure to collect enough Influence by trading with other Factions, and constructing specific buildings to win the Resolution by a majority of Votes.
Similarly, completing Espionage operations and missions is also essential to improve the Authority of your Faction. Players will need to strategically place Agents to Infiltrate various sectors including Houses, CHAOM, Landsraad, Spacing Guild, and Arrakis. This will ensure that Authority production gains, allowing your Faction to annex more Villages quickly.
