How to Deflect and Block Projectiles in Dying Light 2?

Return to sender!

With combat playing a huge role in Dying Light 2, the Combat Skills in the game are invaluable to players. Block Projectiles and Deflect Projectiles are some of the best skills to invest in as they will help players avoid damage from ranged attacks.

The Block Projectiles skill will allow players to press block just as projectiles are about to impact and negate the damage received. Players will need to press the block button (LB on Xbox, L1 on PlayStation, or right mouse button on PC) at just the right moment, but it isn't hard to get the hang of.

The Deflect Projectiles skill is a slight step up from Block Projectiles. This skill will allow players to return projectiles back at attackers upon a successful block. Pressing the block button will also trigger this skill, and players will still have to block at just the right moment to perform a successful deflect.

How to unlock Deflect Projectiles and Block Projectiles Skills

All skills in Dying Light 2 have some requirements attached to them. For the Block Projectiles skill, players will need to have the Perfect Parry skill and 160 health before they can obtain it. Deflect Projectiles skill will require players to have the Block Projectiles skill and 240 health in order for it to be unlocked.

It might seem difficult to unlock these skills, but they're relatively easy to obtain. Both of these skills are worth the effort and can make a huge difference in the game's combat.
