Bust open each area.

Dying Light 2 is a game filled with upgrades for players to unlock as they progress through the unforgiving city. Forging Lockpicks is integral to cracking certain cases, rooms, and areas in Dying Light 2, but the Lockpicks players start the game with are mediocre at best. Here's how you can improve your tools in the future.

To improve lockpicking in Dying Light 2, players need to purchase improved blueprints from Craftmasters in the game's safe zones from the upgrade tab. Each of the Lockpick unlocks in Dying Light 2 improves these consumable items' versatility. Some upgrades bolster Lockpick's durability, while others allow instantaneous unlocks of cases below a specific tier.

Locks in Dying Light have several tiers:

  • Easy
  • Medium
  • Hard

The more complex the lock, the more precise players must be when opening cases, making player upgrades for these materials so integral. It's best to craft Lockpicks as you need them in Dying Light 2, as improved blueprints do not transform existing gear. Try to carry one or two Lockpicks at a time while you aim to enhance your available blueprints. Each box in the Upgrade level of the blueprint indicates an upgrade that players can unlock in time. You'll need various resources to unlock each upgrade, though, so make sure to keep checking each requisite for each tier.
