How do you revive other players in Ember Knights?

You friend has died, now what?

As a Roguelite, Ember Knights is designed to be played with friends, but death is more permanent than in other games. It is possible to bring your friend back to life if they have died during a run of the game.

How to revive allies in Ember Knights

After a player has died in Ember Knights, unfortunately, that means they're out of the game for the rest of that area. The only way to bring dead Ember Knights back is to beat the area's boss or have revival tokens. Revival Tokens are unlocked in the upgrades tab and it revives Ember Knights to 25% health.

To revive after beating a boss, you need to beat the final boss at the end of an area. We do not mean the mini-boss in the middle of an area or the other bosses that appear in rooms—but the boss with the large health bar. Players will respawn after the boss is defeated.

In a Roguelite game, bosses are generally far away from players, so certain elements must be unforgiving. If you can somehow reach the end of the area, your friend will have to wait.

It's best to pull your friend back and have them focus on avoiding attacks, especially since health pick-ups are available every few rooms, and that's better than waiting for a boss to die alone.
