How to get the Claws of the Beast in FFXIV

In Final Fantasy XIV, there are dozens of unique items specifically created to glamour and enhance your character’s appearance. One of these is the Claws of the Beast, an item which takes up the gloves spot on your character. But how do you get the Claws of the Beast in FFXIV?

To unlock the Claws of the Beast, you’ll need 30,000 MGP and access to the Golden Saucer. Head to the main counter of the Manderville Golden Saucer and speak to the Gold Saucer Attendant <Prize Claim> NPC. Select Prize Exchange I and the Others section of the prize selection.

When you scroll to the bottom, the Claws of the Beast will be available for purchase for 30,000 MGP. The Claws of the Beast can either be directly equipped as an item, with negligible stats, or glamoured using your Glamour Dresser or a Glamour Prism.

The Claws of the Beast take on the appearance of a set of long fingernails for your character, making them perfect for cosplays of elegant characters, including the devious Yotsuyu from Final Fantasy XIV: Stormblood. Otherwise, they’re just a perfect accessory for your Warrior of Light over trapping your hands in ugly gloves or gauntlets!
