The first step is to head to the Wolves’ Den Pier. If you haven’t got that location unlocked, you’ll need to make sure you’ve completed the A Pup No Longer quest completed. This quest is available when you join your Grand Company and reach level 30 on any class.

If you’re in Maelstrom, the quest giver is located at Limsa Lominsa: Upper Decks X:13.1, Y:12.8. The Order of the Twin Adders quest is found in  New Gridania: X:9.7, Y:11.1. And if you’re in the Immortal Flames is in Ul’Dah: Steps of Nald X: 8.5, Y:8.9

Once you’ve completed this, head to the Wolve’s Den pier and speak to Gungi Zelungi, who is located at X: 4.9, Y: 6.3. The quest is called The Crystal (Line’s) Call. All you have to do is watch a brief introductory cutscene, and Crystalline Conflict will be unlocked.

To take part in Crystalline Conflict, head to the Duty Finder. Under the PvP tab, you’ll find Cystalline Conflict Casual Match and Ranked Match. Both offer the same basic rewards, but Ranked also drops Rising Stars and Crystal Credit, which are new types of ranking and currency.
