The Moonfire Faire 2023 starts next week in FFXIV!

Become a Final Fantasy Sentai Ranger in this month's special event!

With the Las Vegas Fan Fest and the incoming Dawntrail expansion, it can be easy to forget about the annual events and celebrations for Final Fantasy XIV. But this year’s Moonfire Faire is set to be absolutely unforgettable, as FFXIV is taken over by its very own Sentai group, the Phoenix Risers.

Yes, that’s right, this Moonfire Faire, you can don your very own Sentai Suit as you join the ranks of Eorzea’s own Phoenix Risers in what promises to be a hyper-powered Moonfire Faire.

When does the FFXIV Moonfire Faire take place in 2023?

The Moonfire Faire is set to kick off on August 10 at 8:00 a.m. (GMT) and will continue until Saturday, August 26. The event will consist of two quests and reward you with a brand new glamour costume!

How to unlock the Phoenix Riser Suit and Helmet in Final Fantasy XIV

To unlock the new Glamour Costume, head to X: 11.5, Y: 13.8, Limsa Lominsa, Upper Decks, talk to Mayaru Moryaru, and complete their quest series. Upon completion of this quest series, you’ll get a coffer with the two glamour items.

The new glamour costume is a two-piece glamour, a full-body piece entitled the Phoenix Riser Suit, and a headpiece called the Phoenix Riser Helmet. This is a Super Sentai-themed costume that’s honestly one of the coolest pieces of gear we’ve seen in years and will go perfectly with some of the Super Sentai-themed emotes that have been released for FFXIV in the past.

What’s more, since this is dyeable and the helmet can be switched up, we expect to see plenty of Super Sentai groups in the main cities and hangout areas!
