Who gets Priority in Queue for Final Fantasy XIV Endwalker?

Payers are the first players.

With the Final Fantasy XIV expansion, Endwalker, finally releasing at the beginning of December 2021, players new and old will flock to the popular MMO to experience the latest chapter in the series of additional content. Because players will undoubtedly flood servers, there will be a priority queue during the release window. Who gets prioritized this time around, though?

Players who have purchased the latest expansion take priority in queues during the release window for Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker. Players who have purchased previous expansions will shift further back in the queue than those who bought Endwalker until traffic for the game dies down following the release of Endwalker.

While paying players who haven’t purchased Endwalker take less precedence in the queue, it’s trial players who will expect the most extended wait times once Endwalker debuts. Square Enix stated that while trial players will still have access to the game, their queue times will be longer than usual.

Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker launches for all players on Dec. 7, 2021. You can watch the game’s official launch trailer below:
