A demo for Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes went live on the Nintendo Eshop on June 8, 2022. The demo will let you play through the first four chapters of each route of the game. This is an excellent way to try the game out ahead of its release and a good way to try out the new characters in Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes.

To download the demo, you can go to the official Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes web page. You can also go to the Eshop on your Nintendo Switch and download the demo. Simply search for the game's title and click download demo.

How to play the Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes demo

Once you hit the main menu of the game, select New Game. You will then be given the option to play on either Easy, Normal, or Hard mode. The next set of options is to select either Casual or Classic. The Fire Emblem series was known for its permadeath, meaning if a character reaches 0 HP, then the player will permanently lose that character. The recent entries include a Casual mode that gets rid of permadeath, making it easier for casual players.

The final set of options is choosing between a Slow and Steady experience or a Quick and Efficient experience. Slow and Steady keeps all the strategic information like level-up stats and mission briefs, whereas Quick and Efficient gets rid of all of that to make the game flow faster.

Will save data from the demo carry over?

It has been confirmed via Nintendo's official Twitter that progress from the demo will carry over to the full game. This is the perfect way to get a headstart in the game and get one step closer to bringing unity to Fodlan. You can play the first four chapters of each of the three routes - Scarlet Blaze, Azure Gleam, and Golden Wildfire.
