Should players pull for the Ascended Elincia banner in Fire Emblem Heroes?

Please pull Lucia before she takes over the meta.

Fire Emblem Heroes is giving the Tellius games some love in their most recent banner. All of the characters in the Ascended Elincia banner are from the game Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn. Lots of fans were happy to see Elincia in a new skin, however she might not even be the best unit in this banner. One of these other characters are destined to be destroying Arena and Aether Raids teams very soon, so be prepared.

What are the best units in the Ascended Elincia banner in Fire Emblem Heroes?

The short answer is yes, Fire Emblem Heroes players should definitely throw some orbs at this banner. This isn't just for Ascended Elincia, though: Lucia looks like she will be very annoying to deal with in PvP.

Lucia gets a special weapon in Queensblade, which cancels just about every special effect in the game. Here is a list of all the effects that come with this weapon:

  • Attack +3
  • Deals damage 20% of Speed (If over 25% HP)
  • gets +5 to all stats (if over 25% HP)
  • 30% damage reduction (if over 25% HP)
  • Null Follow-Up for unit and foe
  • Null C-Disrupt for unit and foe
  • Hardy Bearing for unit and foe
  • Feud for unit and foes
  • Disables specials for everybody (including unit)G
  • Cancels defense tile bonuses
  • Cancels support effects

All that being said, it's clear that Lucia will be shutting down most offensive skills and strategies. This makes her really good on tanking teams, which means she might show up on lots of Arena Defense and Aether Raids Defense teams soon.

Aside from Lucia, Ascended Elincia herself will also be a great unit to have. She gets Wrathful Staff built into her weapon, along with Dazzling Shift, which prevents foes from counter attacking. She also can service both as a healer and as an offensive unit, which means she fits on any team in any mode.

Basically, players will want to summon for this banner on Red and Green. Blue isn't horrible, since Geoffrey can at least be foddered off for Flow Force or Attack/Defense Menace. Bastian looks to be the black sheep of the banner, since he doesn't offer the best skills.
