All Horde Rush quests in Fortnite & how to complete them

This year's Halloween update is live now for Fortnite, introducing a new gameplay mode known as Horde Rush to the popular battle royale. The game developers have also added a variety of quests for this experience as part of the latest Fortnitemares update. As is tradition, players can complete these quests and unlock shiny cosmetic items without spending a dime. Here's a look at all of the Horde Rush quests in Fortnite, along with how to complete them.

All Horde Rush quests and rewards in Fortnite

Players can complete the following quests while playing Horde Rush during the Fortnitemares 2023 event:

• Earn a x40 KO Streak (1) - 25,000 XP
• Deal melee damage to Cube Monster spawners (6,000) - 25,000 XP
• Upgrade weapons at an upgrade bench in Horde Rush (5) - 25,000 XP
• Assist in collecting score multipliers (5) - 25,000 XP
• Assist in opening chests in Horde Rush (75) - 25,000 XP
• Help defeat the Boss in the final stage of Horde Rush (1) - 25,000 XP
• Hit headshots on Cube Monsters from at least 15 meters away (100) - 25,000 XP
• Eliminate Cube Monsters using explosives (200) - 25,000 XP
• Accumulate team points (1,000,000) - 25,000 XP

Aside from the XP rewards, players can grab these cosmetic items by completing certain challenges:

• Complete 1 Horde Rush Quest to earn the Murk Wrap.
• Complete 4 Horde Rush Quests to earn the Heart-o-Lantern Emoticon.
• Complete 7 Horde Rush Quests to earn the Batwing Bonespike Pickaxe.

How to complete Horde Rush quests in Fortnite

The new Horde Rush mode features a total of nine quests, and this guide will help you with the most challenging ones:

Earn a 40x KO Streak

To earn a 40x KO streak in Fortnite's Horde Rush mode, you need to defeat 40 enemies in a row without dying. This quest wasn't too difficult, and I was able to complete it by using weapons like Katana, Grenade Launcher, or Goo Gun.

Deal melee damage to Cube Monster spawners

First, land near the Cube Monster spawners, which are marked on the map with a purple icon. Then use a melee weapon such as a pickaxe to deal damage to the Cube Monsters. Repeat this process until you have dealt a total of 6,000 melee damage to these enemies.

Upgrade weapons at an upgrade bench in Horde Rush

To complete this challenge, look for an upgrade bench, which is a purple vending machine-like object that can be found in various locations throughout the map. Then, spend the required amount of materials to upgrade the weapon. Repeat this process until you have upgraded a total of five weapons.

Assist in collecting score multipliers

The easiest way to complete this challenge is by collecting coins scattered throughout the map, as they significantly increase your score multiplier. Look for them in hard-to-reach places and use your building skills to get to them.

Assist in opening chests in Horde Rush

Here are some common locations where you can find chests in Fortnite Horde Rush:

• Residential areas
• POIs (Points of Interest)
• Sheds and barns
• Underground locations

Help defeat the Boss in the final stage of Horde Rush

Defeating the Boss in the final stage of Horde Rush in Fortnite can be challenging, but there are some tips that can help you and your team succeed:

• Stick together with your team and focus your fire on the Boss.
• Use weapons that deal high damage, such as rocket launchers or sniper rifles.
• Keep moving to avoid taking damage from the Boss's attacks.
• Take out any Cube Monsters that spawn during the fight to reduce the number of enemies you have to deal with.

Hit headshots on Cube Monsters from at least 15 meters away

Choose a weapon with good accuracy and range, such as an assault rifle or a sniper rifle. These weapons will make it easier to hit headshots from a distance. It's worth noting that you need to be at least 15 meters away from the Cube Monsters to complete the challenge.

Eliminate Cube Monsters using explosives

Like the melee damage quest, all you need to do is approach groups of Cube Monsters and use explosive weapons to eliminate them. Look for weapons such as grenades, rocket launchers, or grenade launchers. You'll need to eliminate 200 Cube Monsters in this way.

Accumulate team points

To complete this challenge, players will need to earn 100,000 team points, which can be earned by defeating the final boss of the Horde Rush mode.
