Trog's cave is kind of in the middle of nowhere in the snow biome. It's south west of Polar Peak, and the entrance to the cave is either through a hole from above that's pointed to in the image below, or can be found just southwest of that location.

Once you're in the cave, you're going to want to break down the door to Trog's little hut, and inside will be the Fortbyte!
