A Meteoric Rise Mission Guide
The challenges are fairly easily to complete, and you can always do them in Team Rumble if you feel like they might be difficult. You can also use Party Assist with any of these challenges which should help you complete the difficult ones.
Destroy structures with Junk Rifts (10)
You'll honestly just need to get lucky with your chest drops to find a Junk Rift. Once you do, find the tallest most cluttered building you can find and throw the Junk Rift at it. If you pick the right building that has a lot of stuff to destroy in it, you should be able to get it done in one throw!
Visit different Rift Zones in the same match (3)
Rift Zones are pretty much scattered all over the map, but the easiest route to take and get this done is by gliding into Loot Lake and hitting the big rift in the center of it. Then glide on to Tilted Town just enough to get credit for it. After that, keep gliding towards Greasy Grove and you should be able to run there and get credit for the final Rift Zone you need.
Rift Zones
- Loot Lake
- Tilted Town
- Greasy Grove
- Retail Row
- Moisty Palms
Eliminate opponents in Rift Zones (7)
Head to any of those above Rift Zones that are in the game and get some eliminations. I think this one could be possible in Team Rumble, but you might need to get a lucky circle. You could also just land Tilted Town in a normal game and try for eliminations, because it's usually a pretty popular spot.
Search Chests or Ammo Boxes in Rift Zones (20)
Simple enough, just head to any of those Rift Zones and loot them up. Team Rumble is best for this because you get way more chest and ammo box spawns.
Land in a Rift Zone and place Top 10 in Solo, Duos, or Squads (1)
This one could be a bit difficult, but I'd just land in one that's far from the bus path and hide until you end up in the top 10.
Consume Glitched Foraged Items with different effects (4)
This can be found where the indoor soccer field used to be that is west of Tilted! You'll need to consume four different glitched foraged items to complete the challenge.
Touch a giant glowing cube, enter the Rift above Loot Lake, and search a landing pod within a meteor (3)
The Giant Glowing Cube is directly under the floating island that can be found slowly making its way around the map. As of the writing of this guide, it's near Greasy Grove. Just open up your map and take a look at where it is currently and make your way towards it.
Once you are there either glide your way under the island and touch the cube, or use the updraft directly below the cube to get a boost and run yourself into it. You should bounce right off of it and get credit towards the challenge.
Enter Rift Above Loot Lake
This is obviously a very simple one, just head to Loot Lake and go into the big low gravity field in the center of it. There's a huge glowing orb there and all you need to do is jump into it!
Search a Landing Pod In Meteor Location
Head to the big meteor that is northeast of Salty Springs and south of Dusty Depot. Once you're on top of it, you'll want to make your way down to the second tier of it. There's a hole on the north side of it that you can go through and you will find the pod that The Visitor apparently took!
