Struggling with Challenges?

If you are having any issues with the challenges, try heading to the 50v50 LTM. You get a lot more chance to loot areas that require chest openings without being shot. You can knock off a lot of these challenges in this mode, however, it's a bit more difficult to get location specific eliminations done. I'd try to do those in solo, duos, or squads.

Deal Headshot Damage to opponents (500)

Shoot them in the face! There's not much to this challenge, you'll just want to aim for the head like you should be doing all of the time. Pick up a sniper rifle and if you land a couple of head shots then this challenge will be easy!

Harvest building resources with a pickaxe (3000)

Another extremely easy one, you could wrap this up in a game or two. Be sure to hack down wooden fences, this is one of the low-key great ways to gather resources. Trees and boulders will be your main targets, and you should make sure to start gathering more than just wood now they've nerfed it in a recent update.

Search where the Stone Heads are looking (1) (HARD)

I'm sure you've noticed the various Stone Heads across the map after the transition into Season 5 of Fortnite. Well they are all facing in a specific direction, and if you line all of them up they end up crossing their vision at a particular spot. I'm featuring a map below of the exact location where you will find the treasure, but here's a video that explains it more in detail.

Search Chests in Lonely Lodge (7)

Lonely Lodge might be one of the lowest populated areas to drop to in the beginning of a game. That doesn't mean it's terrible, most named areas are at least decent for loot, but once a bunch of people start landing there it becomes problematic. Check out the map below to help you find the chests you'll need for this challenge.

Complete timed trials (5)

The timed trials are small little obstacle courses that require you to grab all of the ticking clocks in a certain amount of time. These can be somewhat difficult, and some might require the use of an ATK, bouncer, or impulse grenades to boost you through the challenge. I highly recommend doing this in 50v50 because some of the locations are going to be frequented, and make it difficult for you to actually complete them. Even if you go into 50v50 your teammates might shoot down your ramps, so alternatively you can do a long glide to the particular trial you want to do if the bus is far away from it.

There are seven challenges available, but you only need to complete five of them!

  • You have to hit your use button on the timer to start the challenge, but you just need to run through the ticking clocks to grab them.
  • Some of these require materials, be sure to harvest before you attempt them.
  • If you are struggling with one, try building around to it prior to starting it up.
  • If you don't complete one you can restart the challenge again right after the time runs out.
  • The Snobby Shores and Tomato Town trials require an ATK. Check out our ATK Locations Guide to find where they are in Snobby and Lazy Links.
  • Don't just quit the game after you complete the challenge or it won't count! You'll need to be eliminated or win the game.

Minigun or Light Machine Gun Eliminations (2) (HARD)

Talk about guns that have come back from the dead. These were two guns you'd wish to never see previously, but they've gotten a lot better due to recent Shotgun nerfs and the changes to a lot of the weaponry. You'll find these generally in chests, but there's also a chance you'll get them as floor loot.

Eliminate opponents in Tilted Towers (3) (HARD)

If you thought Tilted Towers was popping before, just wait until this challenge is live! Tilted is as popular as ever, so be ready to dive onto a gun and hope someone lands near you and doesn't get one right away. You can get a lot of easy eliminations this way.

Hidden Battle Star for Week 6 of Season 5

Once you complete all of the challenges for the week you will be rewarded with a loading screen! This loading screen contains a clue to a hidden battle star. Week 6's loading screen is below, I've circled where the clue is in the image below.

Check out a full list with all of the hidden stars with our Season 5 Hidden Battle Star Locations Guide!

As you can see we've gone off to Risky Reels to check out a movie. Before it starts, head to the red truck with the cooler and grab the battle star. Here's a map of the location:
