Fortnite Hidden Challenges Guide (Chapter 2: Season 2)

You might not have been aware of this, but there's some secret challenges to complete in Fortnite Chapter 2: Season 2! We're taking a look at all of these in our Hidden Challenges Guide. Some of the challenges are no longer available, so make sure to finish them when they are available for some extra experience.

Celebrate the Truce

This is a really simple challenge to complete, you just need to head to the eastern side of Weeping Woods and dance right where the Gnomes and Teddy Bears are signing their treaty. You can find the exact location to the spot in the image below!

Disarm the Gnomes and Teddies

It's time to stop this brutal warfare between the Gnomes and Teddies! Head over to an area southwest of The Agency and interact with the teddies and the gnomes to have them put down their weapons. This will get you an easy 15,000 XP for completing!

Teddies Liberated

If you want some very easy experience, you can jump into a game and head over to the Weeping Woods. It seems like a lot of these Gnome and Teddy Bear challenges are located in this area. We're going back to the house there, it appears the Gnomes have gotten the upper-hand over the Teddy Bears now.

You need to go into the basement, you can either interact with the bookcase on the inside of the house or go through the basement doors that are on the outside of the area.

Once there all you need to do is look for the jail sell with all the bears in it (credit to randomChievos for the screenshot)! Open up the door and then interact with the bear rug that reads, Save the Bears! That's all you need to do to complete the challenge and earn 15,000 XP!

Agent Peely's Spy License Challenges

All of these challenges can be completed within the Battle Pass menus. You just need to head to the Agents area and select the agent that matches the one in the challenge.

Turned the steam valves in Brutus' room (1)

Head into Brutus' room and look for the steam valves behind him. You can click on these and if you do it in a certain order you will reveal the hidden Agent Peely lurking in the shadows and creating mischief. You'll know you are doing it in the right order if you see steam come out of the valve. The exact order can be found in the image below.

Knocked the cat toy off Meowscles' scratching post (1)

We're off to Meowscles' area next! You'll see the purple scratching post on the left corner with the small cat toy on top of it. You need to tap it a few times to knock it off its perch, but once you do Agent Peely will reveal himself and you will have completed this challenge.

Cranked Midas' phonograph (1)

Now that Midas' Challenges are in the game, you can enter his area in the game. You'll find the phonograph on the right side of the room. You just need to tap/click on it three separate times until it plays music and the notes come out of the speaker. Once you do this Agent Peely will reveal himself and you will have completed all of the challenges! Once you do the final one, you will immediately be given the Banana Badge emoji.

No Longer Available Hidden Quests

It appears that the Gnomes and Teddy Bears challenges are only temporarily available so you need to complete them before they change!

For the Gnomes!

This is a bit different than the Ted Offensive Challenge. You don't need to start it out by going anywhere, you just need to locate one of the Gnomes that is looking through a telescope! There's five locations in all, and they are all around Weeping Woods!

Location #1

This location is pretty far north near a curve in the river.

Location #2

You can find this location south of the first location, it's at the base of the large wooden bridge.

Location #3

Go west from location #2 and you'll find this near some large trees.

Location #4

Continue west from location #3 and look for some large boulders to find another gnome telescope.

Location #5

The final location can be found north and to the west of the river. Credit to randomChievos for the screenshots.

Ted Offensive Challenge

You will need to make your way over to Weeping Woods and to the C5 quadrant on your map. There's a cabin in this area that has a secret to be found under it!

Once you are at the location, you can go inside and find a bookcase. If you get close to it, you will get the option to Open it. Do this and head through the small hole that appears in the secret room. Alternatively, you can just breakthrough a couple of basement doors, but that isn't as secret agent-y. Once you're down in this area, look for some conspiring teddy bears. If you get close enough to them, you will get an alert that the Ted Offensive Plans have been found.

You will notice a map in this room, those X-marks indicate that you can find pots of honey in those spots. Rather than memorizing that map, here's a version you can more easily follow:

Each time you grab one of these, you will contribute to an objective that is FOR THE BEARS! There's five pots of honey in all, and you'll need to go around and consume each of them to complete the challenge. Each honey jar is located at the base of a tree, so if you're having trouble finding one just look at the bottom of all the trees in the area. In most cases, the location shown on the map above is the EXACT spot where you can find it.

Once you've finished up your last jar of honey, you will earn yourself 40,000 XP for your troubles!
