Fortnite has become a juggernaut when it comes to third-party crossovers, and leakers are claiming another huge one is on the horizon. Right now, it's sounding like Mile Morales will be coming to the game next, becoming just the latest Spider-Man to enter the battle royale. But is there any truth to this claim?
Is another Spider-Man coming to Fortnite?
According to NotJuleDev, and then posted by prominent Fortnite leaker HYPEX, Mile Morales Spider-Man is set to release into Fortnite between May 18 and June 8. This isn't confirmed, but the timing would make a lot of sense since Spider-Man: Across the Spiderverse releases in theaters on June 2.
Epic Games has come out with a crossover for just about every superhero movie for the past several years, even Black Adam, so there's a good chance that it'll be happening again. If the timeline is accurate, players will find out if it's true in just a matter of days.
What's the latest crossover in Fortnite?
May has been dominated by Star Wars, which saw the arrival of both Padme Amidala and Anakin Skywalker into the game. A mini Battle Pass has also been released that allows players to collect some Clone Trooper variants as well as Darth Maul.
Other rumors include the impending arrival of Goku Black from Dragon Ball Super. While Goku Day has come and gone, players are reporting an ad showing up on their PlayStation Store page showing the crossover. This would seem to indicate the debut of a new Goku variant is imminent, but nothing has been confirmed as of the time of this writing.
