Fortnite Season 3 Week 7 Challenges Guide – Cheat Sheet

This article is over 4 years old and may contain outdated information

Another week has gone-by which means there's some new challenges to complete! Most of them are pretty standard, but we do have another challenge that you can complete with your teammates. Instead of opening chests, this week you will be compiling eliminations. Epic also continues to risk putting floating rings into the game! These have been problematic each week prior, with players not able to see them or collect them. The map has been more exposed in recent weeks, so it should hopefully be easier to do with these without having to swim around too much. If you're curious what they are, we'll be taking a full look at how to complete and solve these Season 3 Week 7 Challenges.

Week 7 Challenges Guide

Just like the previous season, make sure you do any henchmen, marauders, or vault based challenges in normal modes because they won't show up in Team Rumble!

Search Chests at Retail Row (7)

Retail Row is a pretty popular drop spot, so you won't be alone when you head here. There's quite a few chests to find, so you won't need to worry about finding some to open. I always recommend doing chest based challenges in Team Rumble, so head there if you want an easier time of completing this one (Credit to Fortnite.gg for the map).

Gain health or shields from SLURP at Slurpy Swamp (100)

Slurpy Swamp is now on the map again, and you will find it southwest on the map and partially out of the water. If you head in the buildings, you'll find plenty of SLURP barrels to break and gain health or shield from. There's also the big vats of SLURP that you can break into that should count towards the challenge.

Collecting Floating Rings at Weeping Woods (1)

Weeping Woods has dried up enough for you to make your way through the forest. The rings are pretty much all on the eastern side of the area and on top of the trees. I'd recommend heading into Team Rumble for this one because you can use your glider and you get some resources right off the bat to use!

Find balls of yarn at Catty Corner (3)

Catty Corner is to the southeast on the map, and there are now balls of yarn that can be found at the location! You need to find three of these, and you can find out how below. Credit to EveryDay Fortnite for the screenshots below.

The first one you can locate is in the metal container within the actual compound of Catty Corner. It's above where the vault is that you can enter if you take out Kit for his key!

The second one can be found just west of the first one, but on a metal platform that's outside of the actual Catty Corner vault area.

The final yarn ball is located at the gas station to the south of Catty Corner and towards the stairwell that leads up to Kit's office!

Collect Stone from Rapid's Rest (300)

Rapid's Rest can be found between Lazy Lake and Retail Row. It's pretty much the river in-between them with the white water rapids that are flowing quickly towards the lake. If you run along the banks of this river you will find quite a bit of boulders and rocks you can mine for stone.

Eliminate Players (5)

Well, this is pretty easy, you just need to eliminate five players in total. Team Rumble is always going to be your best bet for these because you can get quite a bit of eliminations in each round without a lot of problem!

Eliminate Players (50)

Now, 50 eliminations seems like a lot, but you get credit for any teammates you have that get eliminations as well. So, if you squad up and head into Team Rumble you will be able to get quite a few pretty easily! If you don't have some friends to play with, you should be able to just squad up with randoms and you will still get credit. These squad share challenges give you 80,000 XP, which is a whole lot more than a regular one! So, join some random people or friends and slay out some lobbies.

Search Ammo Boxes at Pleasant Park (7)

This challenge isn't available, but will likely be used if one of the other challenges is bugged.

Ammo Boxes can be found all over Pleasant Park! We've included a map from Fortnite.gg, but I don't believe it's all the actual available locations.

Eliminations at Sweaty Sands (3)

This challenge isn't available, but will likely be used if one of the other challenges is bugged.

Sweaty Sands can be found to the northwest on the map! The water has receded quite a bit, so the area is a lot more exposed. You can use this to your advantage to get some eliminations without having to get attacked by a shark!
