Fortnite Season 3 Week 9 Challenges Guide – Cheat Sheet

There's only one week left of challenges to complete, so be sure to get these done before the end of the season. Players have gotten used to all the new vehicles, so you should be able to utilize them to get around the map quickly! Now that we've got that out of the way, we'll be taking a full look at how to complete and solve the Chapter 2: Season 3 Week 9 Challenges in this guide.

All Week 9 Challenges in Fortnite Season 3

This week, you'll be searching chests in Pleasant Park, getting eliminations at The Fortilla, stoking campfires, collecting metal, and taking out Henchmen or Marauders. Here's a look at the challenges you will need to complete:

• Search Seven chests at Pleasant Park
• Get Three Eliminations at The Fortilla
• Gas up a Vehicle at Catty Corner
• Stoke Three Campfires at Camp Cod
• Collect 200 Metal at Hydro 16
• Eliminate Seven Henchmen or Marauders
• Eliminate 70 Henchmen or Marauders (Team Challenge)

Each challenge will reward you 35,000 XP toward your Battle Pass. However, the new team based challenges will grant you a whopping 80,000 experience! These can be done collectively by people in your duo, trio, or squad. You can even jump into a Team Rumble match with random fill and get credit when your teammates complete parts of the challenge!

Just like the previous season, make sure you do any henchmen, marauders, or vault based challenges in normal modes because they won't show up in Team Rumble! All maps shown below were sourced from Fortnite.gg.

Search Seven chests at Pleasant Park

Pleasant Park is a fairly popular location to land, so you might find a fair amount of resistance if you head here. Team Rumble is always a good option for collecting chest, but it's up to you!

Get Three Eliminations at The Fortilla

The Fortilla is on the southwestern portion of the map. It's pretty broken up by water sections, so it can be a bit difficult to get around. There's a lot of henchmen in the area, so you should be able to eliminate them and get credit towards the challenge.

Gas up a Vehicle at Catty Corner

There's a big gas station just south of the Catty Corner area that is located on the southwestern portion of the map.

Stoke Three Campfires at Camp Cod

Camp Cod is to the very southern portion of the map and is only connected to the island by a single bridge. There's only a couple of campfires in the area, but you can stoke the same fire multiple times. You can start a fire the first time in an area for free, and stoke it each time for 30 wood. You can only stoke it twice, but you can restart the fire for 300 wood. If you don't have those kind of resources, you can head to the other campfire.

Collect 200 Metal at Hydro 16

There's a whole lot of metal over at Hydro 16! You can find cars outside in the parking lot, and there's a bunch of metal to be harvested around and on the inside of the building. Hydro 16 is not labeled on the map, but you can find it directly east of Slurpy Swamp.

Eliminate Seven Henchmen or Marauders

You can find Henchmen in many different spots, particularly in boss locations which are Catty Corner, The Fortilla, and The Authority. They can be found elsewhere, but these are the main locations. I like The Authority in particular because it's easy to spot so many of them. Marauders drop around the map, you can see where they are headed if you keep your eye on the sky for their rocket ship they land on the island with.

Eliminate 70 Henchmen or Marauders (Team Challenge)

Well, this is a whole lot more than 7, but thankfully you will get credit for any of your duo or squad mates' eliminations on Henchmen or Marauders.

Search Seven Ammo Boxes at Misty Meadows

This challenge is only going to be available if one of the other challenges are bugged.

Misty Meadows has a whole lot of ammo boxes to open, so you shouldn't have any problem locating them if you run around the area!
