Fortnite Season 8 LTM Tournament: Date, Prizes, Official Rules, & Everything We Know!

On Sept. 13, 2021, Epic Games released the LTM Tournament official rules for Chapter 2 Season 8. Unfortunately, they didn't give us a ton of information initially, so we will update this page as more information gets released. For now, you can refer to the content below for the essential details about what this tournament includes.

Event Schedule & Basic Info

LTM Tournaments are unique tournaments in the game where they highlight specific player-built game modes and encourage players to be the best at each individual game mode. There is usually a wide range of game modes selected, which means players will have to be well-versed in multiple techniques and strategies.

All game modes selected are competitive to some degree. The types might be Solos, Duos, Trios, Squads, teams, or a mixture of them all. There is currently no set schedule or date for when Fortnite will host the event. We expect this to change soon.

Prizes

There is currently no information on what rewards or prizes will be up for grabs. We will update this section when/if this changes.

Entry

Entry into this tournament is easy. The only major guidelines you need to follow fall under the categories of Age, Account Status, and Competition Rank. These are explained in the shortlist below. 

• Age: Anyone wishing to participate must be at least 13 years of age. If you are under 18, you must have a parent's permission to participate.
• Account Status: To participate in any tournament on Fortnite, your account must be in good standing and have 2FA Enabled.

• Competition Rank: This tournament does not require players to be of any specific rank to enter. However, you must have an account level of at least 30 to compete.

There are additional rules to follow, but these are the criteria you must fit for entry into the event. Additional rules can be found on the official rules page for the event.
