In Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4, you'll find various new NPCs, and Kado Thorne is one of them. It's a new boss, and defeating this character allows you to explore the vaults that contain mythic weapons. However, this is not an easy fight, as the boss is protected by several turrets. Naturally, you need to know the ideal strategy to eliminate this boss. Here's how to defeat Kado Thorne in Fortnite.
Where to find Kado Thorne in Fortnite (map location)
Kado Thorne is the new boss in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4, and you can find him at the Eclipsed Estate POI. Check the yellow circle on the map image above to see the precise location of this POI. Thorne is extremely powerful, and the boss fight room has several traps you need to be cautious about. This boss has two shield bars and is surrounded by turrets, laser fields, cameras, and other traps.
Before approaching this boss fight, I recommend getting shields and good weapons. Keep in mind Eclipsed Estate is a new POI, and naturally, it will be contested by several opponents. Eliminate all the players at the POI before approaching Kado Thorne.

How to defeat Kado Thorne in Fortnite
The best and most efficient method to defeat Kado Thorne is to use Business Turrets in combination with other weapons. The Business Turret keeps firing on the boss, while you can move to a different angle to shoot at him. As you can see from the image above, I used a Shockwave Grenade to throw the boss into the water to impede his movement. You can use the same strategy, but make sure to place your Turrets nearby.
If you are taking a full-on assault approach, then I recommend using Shotguns at close range to quickly cut down Kado Thorne's health. This can be an efficient strategy, especially if the boss is busy shooting at your Business Turret. There's also a stairway platform near the boss. Get up there to gain a height advantage over Thorne!
Collect the loot after defeating the boss, and head for the vaults to get some of the best mythic weapons added in Chapter 4 Season 4.
Destroy the Turrets
Before fighting Kado Thorne, I recommend destroying all the turrets protecting this boss. These turrets can dish out a lot of damage and can cut your health down if they are still up. The turrets start firing as soon as you get in its vicinity, so the best strategy is to maintain distance and shoot at them with a scoped weapon. Check the images above to see how these turrets look in-game. I used the Scoped Burst SMG to quickly destroy the turrets before focusing on the boss fight.
Kado Thorne boss fight rewards in Fortnite
After defeating Kado Thorne, you'll get Thorne's Scoped Burst SMG mythic weapon, along with the Estate Vault keycard that can be used to unlock the vault at this POI. You'll also get a few healing items like the Med Mist after defeating this boss.
