The jungle may be full of dangerous environments, but it has helpful resources as well, such as the new flora. You can now find several different types of plants to utilize around the map, allowing you to poison opponents, gain some shield, and more. One of my particular favorites is the Hop Flower because it can allow you to reach new heights or catch an opponent completely off guard. Plus, you're gonna need to know how to properly use these flowers to complete your Week 5 quest. Here's everything you need to know!
How to bounce on Hop Flowers in Fortnite
Some of the best spots to find Hop Flower to complete your quest is in the treetops east of Rumble Ruins. These plants are positioned closer together, allowing you to hop to each one without touching the ground. I found it easiest to jump on the first plant twice to gain some momentum and then try to steer your character mid-air to the following plants.
Since there are also plants under the tree, you can hop on two in the treetop and then descend to the last one on the ground since they are more lined up. It may take a few tries but have patience, and you'll get it in no time!

Hop Flowers are very different than the other flowers you may find in the jungle, and because they are larger and flatter than the rest, it should be pretty easy to notice them. These purple and yellow plants can be found on the ground of the jungle or high up in the trees.
Fortnite Hop Flower Locations
Hop Flowers may be found in closer proximity to each other near Rumble Ruins, but it isn't the only place you can find them. In fact, they are spread all around the jungle in the yellow highlighted areas above. However, you may find in some locations, they are further spread out and may make the quest more difficult. Check them out in the areas above and try it for yourself:
- East of Shady Stilts
- South of Shady Stilts
- North of Creeky Compound
- North of Rumble Ruins
- East of Rumble Ruins
- South of Rumble Ruins
If one location doesn't seem to be working for you, head to a different one to find some plants that are better positioned. The treetops near Rumble Ruins seem to be the easiest way to get this quest done quickly, but you may just get lucky if you try somewhere else.
