How to damage players with a Clinger in Fortnite

The cause of so much frustration is back.

Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 1 introduced the Clinger—a grenade attached to a plunger. Despite being sticky and perfect for close-ups, Clingers can be difficult to use effectively because they are unreliable at distances.

We recommend using the Clinger up close to damage players. You should only aim Clingers at a distance to destroy builds and walls. Hold the aim button to prepare the shot and the fire button to throw it. You can easily spot where it landed because it has a blinking red light.

The player above actually gave up on shooting because the Clinger is an instant kill if used correctly.

The Clinger explodes and takes 100 health from nearby players. Use it to easily destroy your opponents after landing. Additionally, it efficiently depletes an enemy's health mid-battle. Try it out once, and you'll see why its overwhelming power makes it a vaunted item.

The Clinger can be found above the motel at Sleepy Sound. The specific area is shown in the image above. This gives players three Clingers, which can turn the tide of a match. Besides finding the Clinger at Sleepy Sound motel, you can also find some decent loot and weapons.
