How to eat birthday cake in Fortnite

Fortnite is celebrating its seventh anniversary during Chapter 5 Season 4 with special quests and birthday set cosmetics. One of the six birthday quests requires you to eat seven slices of birthday cake and here's how to complete this objective.

During the birthday celebration week in Fortnite, new items like Birthday Medallions, Flare Guns, Birthday Presents, and Birthday Cake have been added to the game.

How to find and eat birthday cake in Fortnite (map location)

You can find the Birthday Cake at most major POIs across the map, some of which I've marked on the map above. Having said that, I suggest you go to the Reckless Railways POI as the cake there is easy to find.

At Reckless Railways, you'll find a large Birthday Cake next to the fountain near the bridge (see image below). Land there and start eating all the slices of cake one by one placed around the large cake.

You can consume all seven slices required to complete the quest in one match, however, beware of enemy players trying to do the same. As mentioned previously, I've found birthday cakes at other spots as well, including The Underworld castle and inside the shop at The Raft.

Fortnite 7th Birthday Quest Rewards

While completing each birthday quest rewards you with 20,000 XP, there are some cosmetic rewards you can unlock as well:

• Complete 1 Birthday Quest: Birthday Bud emote
• Complete 3 Birthday Quests: Cake Clobberer pickaxe
• Complete 5 Birthday Quests: Sprinkly Space Cake back bling

Fortnite 7th Birthday Quests

Check out the list below for all the birthday quests in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4 and tips on how to complete them.

• Wish the bus driver a Happy Holiday (7)
  • Simply thank the bus driver by pressing the emote button (B on keyboard). You need to play seven matches to thank the driver seven times and complete this quest.
• Throw Birthday Presents or open chests (7)
  • Finding and opening seven chests shouldn't be difficult as they spawn everywhere and you get an indicator when close to one. Finding Birthday Presents is rare and I got it from a chest once.
• Travel distance while airborne with balloons from Birthday Medallions (777)
  • You need the Birthday Medallion for this quest, which usually spawns when you deploy Birthday Presents. Pick the Medallion and you'll get balloons attached to your back over time. Enough balloons and you'll start flying. Move around when afloat to reach the 777-meter milestone.
• Release or pop balloons (7)
  • You can shoot down balloons on the backs of enemy players if you find one. The easier method is acquiring a Birthday Medallion yourself and releasing the balloons after you gain them.
• Reveal players by setting off fireworks with the Flare Gun (7)
  • Flare Guns are a rare find (purple loot), but you may find one inside chests and Birthday Presents. Fire this weapon in the air to mark enemies. I suggest firing a Flare Gun when bots are fighting around you to reveal multiple enemies at once.
• Eat slices of Birthday Cake (7)
  • Already discussed above.
