How to fix Fortnite Crew unable to claim OG Pass

Having some trouble?

With so many people hopping into Fortnite for the OG season, it's no surprise there are problems, including some players being unable to claim their OG Pass. If you've encountered this issue, then here's how you can claim your OG Pass through your Fortnite Crew Membership.

If you're one of the unfortunate few running into this problem, there's a very easy workaround. Instead of waiting for your OG Pass to be gifted to you upon launching the game, just go into the Fortnite Crew title on the OG Pass tab and claim it there. It's a few extra steps, but it'll get you the Battle Pass.

This solution won't require you to buy the pass yourself, so make sure you don't end up doing that if you have an active subscription. The problem is an easy fix, but it won't be immediately obvious to players faced with an error.

What is the OG Pass in Fortnite?

The OG Pass is a shortened Battle Pass that comes with 80 tiers compared to the usual 100. This is because the season itself will be shorter than usual, so the Battle Pass encourages you to play as much as possible before it ends.

If you're trying to get your friends to play again like I am, consider going down the Reboot Rally route and dangling some free cosmetics in front of their faces. While Fortnite is a lot of fun with friends, if you have to go alone, there's no better time to do it if you want to replay the era of the game that made it so big in the first place.
