While the process is self-explanatory, the challenge lies in locating a Brute monster on the map. Where to find Brute Scales in LEGO Fortnite? (Monster Locations)

First and foremost, the entire world is random, meaning Brute Monsters can spawn anywhere on the map. Still, I suggest you search the coast and the sides of rivers as I found a bunch of Brutes lurking around the water areas. If you don't know how a Brute Monster looks, use the below image for a reference. 

They usually have spikes on their back and shiny green stones on their body.

How to take down a Brute Monster in LEGO Fortnite

After locating a Brute Monster, the next step is to take it down. The best method is to stay from a long range and shoot it using a Recurve Crossbow, as the monster tends to charge a lot and throw projectiles from its mouth. It will take anywhere from 40 to 60 arrows for the battle. So, craft a handful for the fight. Once the monster gets defeated, you can collect the Brute Scales as a drop reward. Usually, you will only get one to two Brute Scales per monster.

What is the use of the Brute Scale in LEGO Fortnite?

You can use Brute Scales in crafting several health and resistance-related items like the Hearty Totem and Cool-Headed Charm.
