Slap Splash is a new consumable item that was added in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3. Players can make use of this item as long as they know what it does and where to find it in Fortnite. If you are missing the Chug Splash like the rest of us, then this new item will be your go-to healing item this season. Here's how to get it.
Where to find Slap Splash in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3
To find Slap Splash in Fortnite, players need to check Regular Chests, Rare Chests, and Llamas. Additionally, it can also be found inside Holo-Chests and as part of floor loot. Slap Splash comes in two rarities: Rare and Exotic.
Players are more likely to get the Rare variant as ground loot and while searching inside the Rare and Holo-Chests. For example, I found the Rare variant of the Slap Splash inside Rare Chests in Slappy Shores POI. But if you are looking for the Exotic variant, then you might want to search Llamas and Holo-Chests more. You can also get this consumable item by capturing points at different POIs.
What does Slap Splash do in Fortnite?
Slap Splash is the newer version of the Chug Splash which is currently vaulted. There is no shortage of consumables in Fortnite, and this item functions in the same way as its predecessor. Slap Splash heals both Health and Shields, but once again, it depends on which you lack. So, players can stack up to six Slap Splash of each variant.
However, the Rare variant restores 15 HP, whereas the Exotic variant grants 30 HP. Also, the Slap Splash creates an AoE for about 0.25 seconds, so you need to stick around during then if you want to gain HP.
How to use Slap Splash in Fortnite
To use Slap Splash in Fortnite, you need to put the item in your inventory. All you need to do is throw it in the direction you want by holding onto the appropriate button on the screen. If you are playing with your friends, you can easily use it on them to restore their Health or Shield. However, players need to remain in close proximity when the Slap Splash explodes on impact to get maximum benefit.
