How to hide in tall grass for 10 seconds in Fortnite

Slippery little snake.

For one of our seasonal quests in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 1, we are required to hide in tall grass for 10 seconds, which grants us 25k XP upon completing. However, tall grass is a new thing to Fortnite, and many players aren't sure where or how to hide in it.

There is no special trick to this quest—you simply need to find some tall grass somewhere on the map. For this guide, we're heading to the southern side of The Daily Bugle, where there are several clumps of tall grass in the fields. An example of what you're looking for can be seen in the image below.

To hide in it, you need to walk completely inside the tall grass. This can be where people get confused since usually, when you have to hide in something in Fortnite, you must press a button to interact with it. However, with tall grass, you simply need to make sure you're far enough in so that it limits sight of you from all sides.

When you've done that, just wait 10 seconds. Once you do, the task is complete! Enjoy the easy XP!
